Everybody Was In The French Resistance…Now! is the brainchild of charismatic frontman Eddie Argos and Dyan Valdes, whose gorgeous keyboard work adds to music drenched in pop, charm and wit. Best known for their work in Art Brut and The Blood Arm, respectively, Argos and Valdes’ ‘Fixin’ The Charts Vol.1′ includes ‘Hey, It’s Jimmy Mack’ – a response to the Martha & The Vandellas classic – and ‘My Way (Is Not Always The Best Way)’. A fun and inventive record full of lyrical bravado and catchy melodies.
